Verse 15 commands, “Do not love the world”. What does it mean to love the world and how does it conflict with loving God?

Verse 16 mentions three temptations that come “from the world”. Which are you most drawn to in place of loving God?

Verse 17 says, “…whoever does the will God will abide forever.” How did Jesus accomplish the Father’s will on your behalf?

How does God’s love for you through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection empower you to accomplish the will of God in your life today?
