STEP 1: WATCH

Watch Strengthen Me with your small group and allow time for reflection and observation after the film is finished.

STEP 2: READ

Read Isaiah 40:28-31 out loud with your group and allow time for reflection and observation of the passage of Scripture.

STEP 3: SHARE

If someone asked you what makes a person “strong” in life, what would you say? (e.g. achievements, relationships, wealth, lack of problems, spiritual maturity, etc.)

These verses reveal how God is the one true source of a person’s strength. What do you think it means to make God your strength?

God shows His ultimate strength through His saving power. While you could do nothing to save yourself from sin and death, God saved you through the perfect life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. How does this good news encourage you to look to Him today for strength?

Take time to pray and ask God for faith to trust in His strength. If there is a particular circumstance in your life where you are relying on yourself, ask Him to help you rely fully on Him instead.
