The Mexico Film Series
Watch Paloma with your small group and allow time for reflection and observation after the film is finished.
Read 1 Peter 4:10-11 out loud with your group and allow time for reflection and observation of the passage of Scripture.
Paloma discovered a wonderful truth: she can worship and enjoy God through her art. When you think about how you worship God, what comes to mind?
In 1 Peter 4:10, we learn that God’s people have been given different gifts in order to serve one another. What is one gift God has given you specifically? (If you are among others who know you well, maybe have them answer this question for you.)
Consider Jesus, who served you in the highest form by laying down His life for you. When you think about His sacrificial gift, how does it empower you to give your own gifts to serve others and glorify Him?
Think once again about the gift God has given you. What is one practical way that He might be calling you to serve others this week with your gift?
