How would your life be different if Jesus called the shots?
Tine and Anker are just like any other normal Danish couple. They enjoy gardening, camping, and spending time with their two sons. But where they live and why they moved there make Tine and Anker’s lives a little different from most.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Denmark
LANGUAGES: Danish, English
The Danish Film Series
Responding to God’s leading, we filmed five Danish testimonies and created an interactive Prayer Guide to serve the people of Denmark. The Danish films are meant to encourage Christians and engage non-Christians within the nation, and our Prayer Guide is designed to inspire worldwide prayers for Denmark, where 97% of the residents don’t know Jesus.
Study
STEP 1: WATCH

Watch Moved with your small group and allow time for reflection and observation after the film is finished.

STEP 2: READ

Read Philippians 2:5-11 out loud with your group and allow time for reflection and observation of the passage of Scripture.

STEP 3: SHARE

Anker and Tine left their familiar life to follow God’s call to Ishoj. What comforts of your own might hinder you from following God?

Verse 7 says that Christ “emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men”. What comforts did Christ give up, and how did He serve you by becoming human?

Christ served you further still by being obedient to death on a cross to give you true life in Him. How does His sacrifice confront your comforts in Question 1?

Anker and Tine served others with the Gospel because Christ served them. Take a moment and ask God to help you do the same.
