STEP 3: SHARE

After coming to faith in Christ, Laura experienced the realities of the “sword” Jesus talks about in Matthew 10. Whether you’ve had a similar experience or not, what would you do if someone you love opposed your faith?

Laura faced continual opposition from her own father but chose faithfulness to Christ in the midst of it. When you consider the allegiance that Christ calls us to in this passage, what is your response?

Following Jesus is costly, but His love towards you is so great that He willingly gave his very life to redeem you. How does Jesus losing His life for yours help you in turn surrender your life to follow Him?

As we see in the film, our God is a God of great mercy, lavishing it on those who are least deserving. When you consider His mercy towards you, how does this change the way you view those who might oppose your faith?
