What if your God-given gifts could reveal Christ to others?
Are you looking for joy in life? As a gifted performer, singing brought Atsushi joy. It also brought him to one of the most unlikely places: a Gospel Choir practice. It wasn’t long before the lyrics he sang opened his eyes to a joy greater than what music alone could provide.

The Japanese Film Series
Responding to God’s leading, we filmed six Japanese testimonies and created an interactive Prayer Guide to serve the people of Japan. The Japanese films are meant to encourage Christians and engage non-Christians within the nation, and our Prayer Guide is designed to inspire worldwide prayers for Japan, where 99% of the residents don’t know Jesus.

Watch Love One Another with your small group and allow time for reflection and observation after the film is finished.

STEP 2: READ

Read John 13:34-35 out loud with your group and allow time for reflection and observation of the passage of Scripture.

STEP 3: SHARE

Verse 34 commands followers of Christ to love one another. What does it mean to love those in the family of God?

Like Atsushi, we are prone to live for and love ourselves. How do you struggle with loving yourself in place of loving others?

We can love because Christ has loved us. How has He shown His love, and how does this change the way you obey this command?

Verse 35 reveals that loving one another shows our commitment to Christ. How is loving one another missional, and how is God calling you to respond?
