When Petra loses her mother at a young age, she sets off on a journey to find hope and healing for her loss. This decade-long search eventually leads her to discover that the answer she’s been looking for has been pursuing her all along.

The Czech Film Series

Responding to God’s leading, we filmed six Czech testimonies and created an interactive Prayer Guide to serve the people of the Czech Republic. The Czech films are meant to encourage Christians and engage non-Christians within the nation, and our Prayer Guide is designed to inspire worldwide prayers for the Czech Republic, where 99% of the residents don’t know Jesus.

Read Romans 8:38-39 out loud with your group and allow time for reflection and observation of the passage of Scripture.

STEP 3: SHARE

Petra experienced deep sorrow and grief with the loss of her mother. How have you experienced suffering in your life?

Do you struggle to believe that nothing can separate you from God’s love in the midst of suffering? Why or why not?

How does God show His love for you “in Christ Jesus” and His suffering? What hope do these verses give us about that love?

Petra discovered that nothing compares to God’s love. Take time to pray and ask God to help you believe that nothing can separate you from His love, not even your suffering.
