Yet, no amount of scientific discovery, political power, or philosophical prowess has given the people of Germany the lasting security they desire.
As loneliness and hopelessness increase across the country, over 80 million German people are living without Christ and the satisfying joy that He brings.
This is why we pray.
Over the course of centuries, Germany has impacted the world in astonishing ways.

KINGDOM GROWTH
The German people are hard-working and disciplined in all areas of society. Yet, while all seems well on the surface, many Germans lack meaning and hope beyond what this world offers them. While 64% of Germany claims to be Christian, many believe religion is irrelevant, with less than 3% following Christ. The people of Germany need the true life and restoration that only Christ can provide.
But God is on the move! He is graciously calling German men and women to turn from sin and find life in His salvation, and those who humbly surrender to Him experience freedom, joy, and purpose, as you will see in the following short film.

After graduating high school, Robin rejects his Christian upbringing to live life to its fullest. It isn’t until his parents reveal a long-held family secret that Robin discovers the life he has been missing all along.
“PRAY THEN LIKE THIS: OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME. YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.”

Reflecting on what you’ve seen, and as the Holy Spirit leads, pray for God’s Kingdom to come to Germany using the following suggestions:
PRAY FOR A SPIRITUAL HUNGER THAT LEADS THE GERMAN PEOPLE TO GENUINELY SEEK GOD.
PRAY THAT GERMAN CHRISTIANS GROW IN SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES, SUCH AS READING SCRIPTURE AND PRAYER.
PRAY FOR BOLDNESS AND JOY IN PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL WHEREVER GOD HAS PLACED HIS CHILDREN.
