Moving Works is a non-profit filmmaking ministry, and we film stories about God changing lives around the world. We do this because He’s worth it, and honestly, we all need it. This is why we give away all our films to watch, share, download, and redistribute entirely for free.

Our
Mission
We share Jesus globally by serving His church locally.

Sharing films about God transforming real people helps spread the good news of Jesus around the world. While some countries have these resources, many do not. This is why we focus primarily on filming stories in nations where Christianity is small and access to relevant testimonies is limited. This allows us to both serve Christians and share Jesus in these countries in a personal and powerful way.

We film personal stories that cross cultural barriers.

We film in diverse countries with unique cultures, but our stories can be used to inspire faith pretty much anywhere. A Japanese film about Jesus healing a woman of depression in Tokyo has encouraged faith in Mexico City. An American film about a woman serving jail inmates in Illinois has inspired ministry work in Sweden. By God’s grace, personal stories about real people being transformed by Jesus can transcend cultural barriers and share God’s love across the globe.

We give it all away because Jesus gave it all for us.

Everything we make we give away for free. Why? Because Jesus gave His life for us and we want to reflect that generosity the best we can. Of course, we don’t do this alone. As a donor-supported, non-profit ministry, we are dependent on God providing through people like you in order to film, edit, and share our films around the world.

Our
Story
It’s all about Jesus.

Since the age of nine, our executive director Peter Craig has loved making movies. This passion for storytelling eventually inspired award-winning short films and led him to writing projects for Sony Pictures, NBCUniversal, and Walden Media. However, in the midst of this success, God revealed that he was using his gifts to establish his own reputation, not Christ’s. This discovery led Peter into a season of personal reflection and repentance which God used to start Moving Works on May 2, 2012.

Since its inception, Moving Works has remained steadfast to radical generosity and uncompromising quality while upholding two Spirit-led convictions: every film must glorify God and be given away for free. Fully embracing these beliefs, God has allowed the ministry to film in over 14 countries and produce a library of short films that have been seen over 80 million times spanning 180+ countries!

It’s all aboutJesus.
