Staff Requirements

All staff members of Moving Works must maintain a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and pursue His guidance in every facet of his or her life. Along with this, each staff member must strive to live in obedience to the Great Commission and have a desire to see it completed. They must live their lives in a way that doesn’t damage the Gospel or hinder the ministry work of Moving Works and must strive to exhibit integrity (Phil. 1:17), excellence (Col. 3:23), stewardship (Psalm 24:1) and dignity (Gen. 1:27). Each staff member of Moving Works is asked to raise his or her own financial support in order to join the ministry full-time. This lessens the financial strain on the organization and furthers the outreach of ministry in terms of blessing those who support them individually.

Marketing Director

Job Description:

This is a full-time position for a passionate believer who is gifted in creative marketing and organizational development. As a team member of a Christ-exalting start-up ministry, the candidate must be willing to participate in a vast array of organizational duties, which include: developing and implementing marketing strategies for films and the organization as a whole, coordinating film screenings and outreach events, raising financial support and awareness of the ministry, and building an enthusiastic network of churches, organizations and individuals who desire to screen our films. This is a position for a self-motivated individual who demonstrates humble, Christ-like leadership and isn’t afraid to stick his or her neck out for God’s glory. This position requires an individual who is a creative thinker and can develop inventive ways of building an audience for the ministry through social media and other web-related mediums. He or she must be extremely organized, fiscally responsible, articulate, personable, tech savvy, have a passion for people and, most importantly, have a desire to see God’s name glorified throughout the world.

Job Requirements:

  • Maintains a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and consistently seeks His guidance through prayer and His Word.
  • Possesses a Bachelor’s degree and experience in marketing, business, management, ministry, or a related field.
  • Maintains knowledge in a wide array of office related and social media applications including: Word, Excel, Quickbooks, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Vimeo, YouTube, and WordPress.
  • Possesses strong problem solving skills and is able to work unsupervised and make responsible decisions that will assist in accomplishing the goals of the ministry.
  • Possesses a desire to travel in order to participate in speaking engagements and productions when needed.

We do this by telling stories about Jesus in a variety of mediums (Film, Video, Photography, Music, Literature, Design, Animation, etc.). We believe that making these stories known brings glory to God and can play a crucial role in mobilizing His followers to complete the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:19-20.

Director of Development

Job Description:

This is a full-time position for an enthusiastic and passionate believer who enjoys and thrives in organizational support raising, cultivating a strong donor base, business and marketing. As a team member of a Christ-exalting start-up ministry, the candidate must be willing to participate in a vast array organizational duties which include: raising awareness and support of the ministry, strategizing budget and growth, marketing the ministry and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with influential Ministry Partners and individual supporters. This is a position for a self-motivated individual who demonstrates humble, Christ-like leadership and isn’t afraid to stick his or her neck out for God’s glory. They will be required to pursue strong relationships with churches and Christ-centered organizations and must have a desire to participate in direct and indirect solicitation, face-to-face meetings and public speaking events. This position requires an individual who is a creative thinker and can develop new and inventive ways of building an enthusiastic support base and develop strong relationships with individuals and organizations. They must be extremely organized, fiscally responsible, articulate, personable, tech savvy, have a passion for people and, most importantly, have a desire to see God’s name glorified throughout the world.

  • Possesses a desire to travel in order to participate in speaking engagements and meetings with potential Ministry Partners.
